Water for Elephants
This book Water for Elephants is an amazing read. Its about at man named Jacob Jankowski, he's in his 90's and tells about his days on the circus when he was 20 which was in the 1930's. He was practicing to become a vet at an Ivy League school, bu that was cut short due to his parents death, he skipped out on his finals exams. He then came to a train and jumped on, the train was holding the circus called Benzini Brothers Most Spectacular Show on Earth. He than became the shows vet. His first patient was the lead liberty horse, Silver Star, his foot was foundering which is super bad and non-treatable. They had to put him down. I'll tell you more next time.
